Engine codes for the Mercedes W124 - M103.xxx and M104.xxx in the 260 and 300 cars and M119.xxx in the larger 400 and 500 cars.

 

The W201 designates the 190 series cars from 1984 - 1993. This includes the 190e cars with 2.3L,  2.6L, and 2.6L 16v engines.  Also the 190d diesel cars.

Engine codes for the W201 included the M102.xxx M103.xxx and 601.xxx and 602.xxx in the diesels.
